Key Stage 1What is Money:Students need to realise that unless we have money we are not able to buy the things that we would like. Money comes from a range of different sources - they may get pocket money or money for their birthdays. Adults will usually get the money that they have from going to work. Students need to try and develop a sense of understanding of their own needs and others' within their family. They need to understand that money needs to be spent on the things that we need to live - food, house, clothes and shoes. This lesson will explore what money is and what
people need it for and what things money needs to be spent on.
